We are happy to launch another useful extension – the Share on WhatsApp Extension for eCommerce stores running on Magento 2. There are 3 more extensions by CueBlocks that were recently made available at the Magento 2 Marketplace and are also available at our own store.
Share on WhatsApp allows store owners to tap into word of mouth marketing like never before. Imagine your products and web pages being shared between friends and family amidst the, ‘so this happened..’ and ‘do you know..’. Sounds great, right? Something like:
Social media sharing is a marketing tonic for eCommerce stores but what makes WhatsApp ever more capable of spreading the word beats other social sharing mediums. WhatsApp means you’ll enter the mobile marketing network, seamlessly, and enjoy the benefits of word of mouth, mobile-to-mobile promotions without even having to invest exorbitantly in terms of infrastructure or finances. All you have to do is install the extension that enables the “whatsApp sharing button” on your product pages, product listing pages and CMS pages and let your customers share away!
The user can click on WhatsApp button and send it to her friends or family for viewing a product page, a CMS page or a product listing. There are other cool features available in this extension such as sharing a shortened URL of the page or customizing the WhatsApp sharing button size, text and more.
It allows quick, easy and smart mobile sharing! Get more traction and more mobile crowd to your website with our extension.
Side Note: Make sure that your mobile site is up and running efficiently because the traffic on your mobile site is bound to increase with more number of handheld users visiting your site. It is only those users, who have smartphones and an activated whatsapp app, will be able to receive information shared using the Share on Whatsapp button. Thus, presenting a non-responsive website to them will only make them feel disappointed.
P.S – Magento 1 version of this extension is also available and can be purchased here.
